The Events Committee

The Events Committee organizes several social gatherings and larger festivities throughout the year. Our goal is to make your time as a student memorable, and we want to create well-being and friendship among the student association's many members!

Our largest and most traditional events are the Matriculation-ball and Krabbe.

Krabbe is V&A's oldest tradition, with roots all the way back to the 60s. Traditionally, Krabbe takes place at Studenterhytta on the first friday in February. In V&A it is rumored that "At Krabbe we eat and drink until we have to crawl(krabbe) home (or to bed)".

In addition, the Events Committee is responsible for our yearly Christmas party and other big events.

Although we have some traditions, we are always looking for new ideas! If you have any wishes or feedback, just get in touch via email!

The anniversary group

The anniversary committee is a subgroup in the Events Committee. The groups main task is to plan and arrange anniversarys in V&A.

In general, the work includes: preparing budgets, collaborating with other sub-groups and committees, making agreements with external parthers, planning activities for jubilee celebration, applying for funding, promoting the event on social media, at stands, and in lectures, holding regular or occasional meetings, doing historical research, and most importantly, having fun!

The group dissolves after every anniversary. The next anniversary is in 2028, see you then!
