Realfagskjelleren
Realfagskjelleren is an associated student organisation consisting of volunteer students from the V&A, among others.
Realfagskjelleren is one of several student bars that can be found in the "basements" of Moholt student village, which aims to create a gathering place and low-threshold social programme for Trondheim's students.
Realfagskjelleren is run by Realfagskjellerens Kjellerstyre, which consists of student volunteers from Volvox & Alkymisten, Spanskrøret (lecturer in science), Delta (maths and physics) and Online (computer science). In addition to regular Friday openings, Realfagskjelleren organises "Fest" before Children's TV, Quizz, line association-specific events, after parties and more! Committees, subgroups and members of the four aforementioned line associations also have the opportunity to book Realfagskjelleren for private events: contact V&A's basement contact (basement committee leader) by email or on Facebook.

Barhistory
Realfagskjelleren is now located in Herman Krags veg 12, but it hasn't always been like this. In 2000, when it was made possible for non-science programmes to apply for a basement at Moholt, both V&A and Online applied. They were offered a shared basement, as both line organisations applied at the same time and there was only one available. So V&A and Online worked together and had their first opening at Herman Krags veg 15 on 16 May 2001. In 2003, the Delta line association joined, followed by Spanksrøret in 2004.
Everything went brilliantly for Realfagskjelleren (with the exception of a couple of break-ins) for the first 15 years. But then came the "basement fire" in 2016. Smoke development in another line association basement led to the fire brigade being called out, and when they realised what the escape routes were like for the majority of the Moholt basements, they were all closed. This was due to poor standards, and costly repairs were necessary.
The organisation Reddkjellerne was founded, and after 1 year of events in the (old) SiT activity centre at Moholt and 1 year in the old Moholt Barnehage (along with most of the other Moholt basements), we got our own basement again! This time in Herman Krags veg 12. The early semesterweeks in 2018 were the first time the new basement in HK12 was available to the general public, and the first regular opening was on 31 August 2018 - a joyful day for young and old, and everything in between. After some downtime around the Covid-19 pandemic, there was renewed interest in further refurbishing the basement.
At V&A's general meeting on 28 September 2022, it was decided that the science basement would no longer be considered a committee of the line association.
